Our youth group is made up of Middle and High School students from our congregation and the community.
And we never sit still. There is always something happening in the Youth Group.
At this time, the Youth Group is meeting once a month. We usually meet September thru May, and have monthly events during the summer. Please check out the Church Calendar for the exact Sundays we are meeting in 2022, or call the Church office at 609-585-5770.
While we do usually meet at the church, we are not always there! If you would like to join us please call the church to make sure where we will be meeting this week.
Bible study
Often times our bible studies lead up to a trip or event that brings the message home. Our Lent Study the last two years have culminated in trips to the theater. Our Study of Parables led us to New York to see Godspell. And one year’s study saw us to Philadelphia to see Jesus Christ Super Star.
We have also participated in Retreats to 'Closer Walk' in Wildwood, and Camp Johnsonburg.
Faith in Action
Some of our previous "works":
The youth raised money to purchase a water buffalo for Heifer International
The youth (with a lot of help from Curly) built a garden box for TASK.
We also helped to weed and mulch flowerbeds on the side of the church.
Youth serve as greeters, ushers and lay reader for the confirmation service.
Picked peaches for TASK
The youth participated in Trick or Treat for Unicef,
Wrapped utensils and made 4 dozen lunch bags for TASK.
Christmas caroling to Shut ins
Posters of encouragement for the Prison Ministry retreat
Fellowship
Six Flags Trips
Barbecues
Car Wash fundraiser
Trips to carnival
Sleepovers at the church
