United Presbyterian Church invites you to join us for VBS 2021
At Knights of North Castle VBS, your children will enjoy an interactive, energizing, Bible-based good time as they go on a quest in search of the King’s Armor. They will become Knights and discover how to serve God and God’s mission for their lives. This years VBS will be held Monday, August 16th to Friday, August 20th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM each night. All children toddlers through middle school are invited to attend, High Schoolers are welcome as helpers. Parents of toddlers will be asked to attend with their children. Each year during Vacation Bible School we participate in a mission project. This year's mission project will be announced over the summer.
United Presbyterian Church invites children to explore how we put on the armor of God. Kids will take on the role of brave Knights and begin their quest each session with opening assembly time, then the Knights make their way to the Bible Story Station. They’ll explore Old and New Testament stories and discover different pieces of protective armor — the Belt of Truth, the Breastplate of Justice, the Shoes of Peace, the Shield of Faith, and the Helmet of Salvation — at work in the lives of familiar Bible characters, and explore how that armor works in their own lives as they follow and serve God. The children will expand on what they’ve discovered by participating in a variety of activities: making their own art projects at Craft Headquarters, singing new songs at Music Headquarters, exploring the wonders of creation at Science Headquarters, playing games at Recreation Headquarters, and enjoying tasty treats at Snack Headquarters.
Due to Covid concerns, there will likely be modifications to our usual VBS program. We are planning to follow the latest CDC and state of NJ guidelines and will send out specific information as our VBS date approaches.
The fun begins: Monday, August 16th to Friday, August 20th 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at United Presbyterian Church
