United Presbyterian Church invites you to join us for VBS 2025
Camp Firelight: A Summer Camp Adventure with God!

At Camp Firelight VBS, your students will enjoy an interactive, energizing, Bible-based good time on their summer camp adventure with God. They will become Campers and discover how to put their trust in God in every situation..
Interactive Bible lessons reveal each Firelight Focus to equip your Campers for an active life with
God. Your Campers will also discover our Firelight Focus (Bible memory verse). The campers will expand on what they’ve discovered by making their own art projects at the Craft Station, singing new songs at the Music Station, exploring the wonders of God’s creation at the Science Station, and enjoying tasty treats at the Snack Station.
This years VBS will be held JULY 21st to JULY 25th, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM each night. All children Pre-3 through Middle School. High Schoolers are welcome as helpers.
Working Together to Bring Peace

Camp Firelight VBS is based on Psalm 56:3: “Whenever I’m afraid, I put my trust in you.” This verse reminds us that we can trust God no matter what challenges we face in life. Camp Firelight invites us to put our trust in God in every situation, including during times when we might be afraid.
During each assembly session, Campers join first-time camp Counselor Sam and Lou (short for Lumen), the lightning bug puppet, and learn to face their fears while trusting in God. Each day, Campers see Counselor Sam face new challenges—from simple, like leading Campers on a hike, to intimidating, like meeting a new and wise nature expert. With the help of Lu the Lightning Bug and the Camp Counselor
Guidebook, Counselor Sam and our Campers explore timeless Bible stories that show how Old and New Testament Campers trusted God in the face of their own fears and went on to do great things in God’s name.
