United Presbyterian Church invites you to join us for VBS 2024
Answer the Hero’s Call
At Hero Hotline Headquarters kids will enjoy an interactive, energizing, Bible-based good time as they are called together to serve God. They will become Heroes and discover that answering God’s call together means striving for the things that bring peace and the things that build each other up! The Heroes will have bible lessons revealing Hotline Tips and learning Hotline Bible Verses to equip themselves for an active life with God.
The Heroes will expand on what they’ve discovered by making their own art projects at the Craft Station, singing new songs at the Music Station, exploring the wonders of God’s creation at the Science Station, playing games at the Games Station, and enjoying tasty treats at the Snack Station. Along the way, the Heroes will hear about our mission project and as they respond to a call for action!
This years VBS will be held JULY 22nd to JULY 26th, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM each night. All children Pre-3 through Middle School. High Schoolers are welcome as helpers.
Working Together to Bring Peace
Hero Hotline VBS is based on Romans 14:19: “So let’s strive for the things that bring peace and the things that build each other up.” This verse reminds us that God calls us to be a part of a community—working to bring peace to the world is something that we are all called to do together.
The Hero Hotline Headquarters is a secret place where Heroes go to help solve problems called. At Hero Hotline, everyone’s gifts are valued and each Hero has a role to play. Heroes receive a call/assignment each day by the Professor and Super Meer to help solve a problem that other Heroes in the community are facing. Heroes will then explore the les and database of the Hero Hotline to discover how Heroes can work together to bring peace.
Peace comes from God, and as God’s people we are called to share that peace with the world. We work together, help one another, and encourage one another because God has called us to live in community and fellowship with one another. We all can strive, in both expected and unexpected ways, to bring peace, love, and justice to the world.

Each year during Vacation Bible School we participate in a mission project.
This year we will be asking families to bring in hygiene products for the Shine and Inspire Closet.
Items needed include: Deodorant, Feminine Products, Soap, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Wash Cloths, Lotion, Chapstick and Body wash
Shine and Inspire fills closets at schools in our community with hygiene items, school supplies and non-perishable food. Shine and Inspire started when the founder discovered that right here in Hamilton that there are kids that don’t go to school because they can’t afford deodorant and other hygiene items. Today there are over 28 closets in schools across Mercer County (and growing). For more information go to: www.shineandinspire.org/closet/
