AS PART OF OUR MINISTRY IN MISSION, THE UNITED PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH SUPPORTS THE FOLLOWING MINISTRIES:
- The general mission work of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
- Villages in Partnership Villages in Partnership is a development organization that works in the rural villages of Sakata, Malawi, partnering with 26 villages. VIP programs empower local communities to be part of the solution so that villagers are able to meet their own needs.
- Send Hunger Packing at Mercer Street Friends is a meal bag program that helps feed food insecure students over the weekend when they lack access to school meals.
- Ginny's Pantry at Christ Presbyterian Church
- Womenspace provides a comprehensive array of services to individuals and families impacted by domestic and sexual violence. Programs include crisis intervention, emergency shelter, counseling, court advocacy and housing services.
- Interfaith Caregivers Service an interdenominational coalition of 25 congregations and over 360 trained volunteers provide caregiving support and wellness program that enables seniors and adults with disabilities to age safely in their homes and communities.
- Camp Johnsonburg Presbyterian Summer Camp and retreat center in Johnsonburg NJ
- Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, which provides meals and educational classes for low income families
- Princeton Theological Seminary student scholarship fund which provides scholarships to seminarians.
- Trenton Habitat for Humanity which provides affordable house through sweat equity in the Trenton Area
- Special Offerings of the Presbyterian Church (USA)
- Souper Bowl Sunday, a special collection of canned goods, mostly soup, benefiting local food pantries.
- UPW provides coats and backpacks for the local elementary schools.
