United Presbyterian Women (UPW)
The purpose of the United Presbyterian Women (UPW) is: To nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study, to support the mission of the church worldwide, to work for justice and peace, and to build an inclusive caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.
The UPW meets at the church in Fellowship Hall on the first Tuesday of each month at 10:00 am except for June, July, August and December. In June instead of a regular UPW meeting, we have a luncheon in a local restaurant for all the women of the church who wish to attend. In December, we have a Christmas luncheon in a local restaurant instead of a regular UPW meeting. All women of the church are always invited. These luncheons provide a chance for the women attending to have fellowship and thus build an inclusive caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church U.S.A.
A regular UPW meeting consists of coffee/fellowship time, a Bible study led by our Spiritual Life chairperson and a business meeting. Mission (local, national and international) is a strong focus. The UPW holds various fund raisers to support their projects. Following the business meeting, the women who want to have lunch together go to a local restaurant.

All women of the church are invited to join the United Presbyterian Women. The fellowship is great, spiritual needs are met and the members have a great time working together as Christian women doing God’s work!
