In June we will be taking a trip to Barnes & Noble to brainstorm ideas for upcoming book selections.
THE SURVIVORS: The Survivors (55 and over group) invite senior members of our church and their friends to join us on a trip to the James A. Michener Museum in New Hope, PA. We will meet at the church at 10:15 am on Wednesday, May 21st. At the museum we will have a docent to give us a tour of the Robert Whitley exhibit. The senior price is $4.00 per person. After the tour, we will eat at the Triumph Brewery. Please RSVP to Joyce Davies (585-5770) or Gail Fouse. We hope to see you!
SUMMER WORSHIP: During the summer months we will have only one worship service at 9:30 am. This schedule will begin on May 25th and continue through August 31st. We will celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month.
MEMORIAL DAY PARADE: The Outreach Ministry Team is planning to have a Hospitality Tent in front of the church during the Memorial Day Parade. We plan to serve coffee, cold drinks, cookies and other goodies to the people of the community, and tell people about United Presbyterian Church and our ministry.
Also we will be marching in the parade. We are looking for people of all ages to come and march in the parade. Bring your bike, your dog, your child, your parent, and your enthusiasm and share with the community the spirit of UPC. We will be meeting at 8 am in front of Sunnybrae shopping center.
If you would like to help on Memorial Day morning or march in the parade, please call Curly Rentner.
