The Board of Deacons will perform duties of service delegated by Session such as:

  • Preparation for and serving of communion
  • Distribute flowers to shut-ins/sick members
  • Supplying devotional materials
  • Send Home Touch weekly inspirational letter to homebound members with a devotional & activity page
  • Sending cards
  • Scheduling of Door Greeters & Ushers
  • Preparing funeral luncheons for members of the congregation
  • Determining the financial support for mission given by the Board of Deacons
