| The purpose of the UNITED PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN (UPW) is: to commit to nurturing faith through prayer and Bible study; to support the mission of the church worldwide; and to build a caring community of women to work for justice and peace that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). |
| Within the UPW there are two Circles, called Esther and Lydia. They meet together on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Every meeting begins with a Bible study given by the Pastor; a short business meeting follows. |
| Many service projects are supported by the UPW, as well as visits made to various nursing homes. The UPW holds various fund raisers to support many different missions and projects. |
| All women of the church are invited to join. The fellowship is great, spiritual needs are met and, most of all, the members have a great time working together as Christian women doing God's work. It's rewarding and full of fun! |
| Circle Meetings are the first Tuesday of each month 7:00 pm at the Church. Each and every woman is invited to join us for a blessed respite from the daily routine. |
| These circle meetings include: |
Bible Study - to helps us to understand the Scriptures more fully. |
Fellowship - to share experiences and seek to help others. |
A short business meeting - Some of the things discussed are: Mother/Child Banquet, funding for local and worldwide missions, and enhancing the church building. |
