Session Charter ( Excerpted from the Book of Order 2004/2005):

The Session consists of the Co-pastors and the Elders in active service being responsible for the mission and government of United Presbyterian Church. The Clerk of Session will serve as the recording and corresponding secretary. Session responsibilities and powers are explained in the Book of Order, however, a few of those responsibilities are as follow: provide opportunities for evangelism to be learned and practiced in and by the church, lead the congregation in the mission of the whole church, provide for worship of the congregation, develop and supervise church school and the educational program of the church, establish an annual budget, etc.
